kizaerf
My question involves how dimension styles are stored with autocad. Is it a LISP routine, a dwg that is to be loaded or what? I ask because, at my work, they have all the dimension styles set up, and would like to take the ones from work and use them in my personal autocad at home. What would the best method of doing this be?

nestly
If you copy a dimension into a drawing that does not already contain a dimension style with that name, the dimstyle is imported into the new drawing. As long as it's done so with the consent of your employer, I'd just take a copy of the drawings that contain the dimstyle home and then drag/drop or copy/paste them into your personal template. Design Center also can be used to transfer Dimstyles from one drawing to other drawings.
