Replace the Origin Node in a sketch

Recommended Posts

I am still learning Inventor and one of my problems seems to be that I often delete the origin node when selecting a bunch of crap I want to erase. Okay I know about the Undo command but I often find myself way down the road in an exercise or tutorial before I discover I erased the origin node. So undo and redo will be a bigger pain than just being able to insert a new node at the origin point. So is the a way to do just that?

You cannot delete the Origin Center Point.

That wasn't the question.

The question was how to regenerate a PROJECTION of the Origin Center Point that was deleted.

Project Geometry is the answer.

Of course, you can always delete projected geometry, but again, that wasn't the question.

You cannot delete the Origin Center Point.
