Setting up and saving template drawings

Have you created a list of what you want to include in your templates? All that requires is a pencil and paper. Once you have the list you can methodically work through it and add those elements to your template.

What layers do you want to include?

What text and dimension styles do you want to include?

Will you also be including a title block and border and if so where will it be placed? In model space or in a layout?

What units will be used in each layout?

What linetypes will be pre-loaded?

Being well organized will go a long way towards making this a straight-forward exercise.
