GemmaEBaird
Good afternoon So it's my second day on 3D AutoCAD 2015 and I am trying to put a roof on the structural members as depicted below ( and attached ) I need some help on the process of how to do this. The roof is an undulating landscape and will need a thickness to the overlay ...... and eventually cut out but I understand how to do that. Any help would be very much appreciate - thank you in advance. For Roof.dwg
ReMark
Is this being created as a solid or a surface? A couple of possibilities might include a loft of a series of profiles or use Edgesurf to create a series of surfaces. There are probably another couple of ways the problem could be approached. GemmaEBaird
I think I need it to be a solid to give the roof a thickness. The plan is to form a habitable surface
ReMark
Surfaces can be thicken thus creating solids.

ReMark
And I'm going to go to work on my bathroom ceiling (resurfacing). I'll check this thread later if/when I have a chance. Good luck.
