ReMark
You're running 2008 in Vista compatibility mode?
p4free95
In the list of the compability, ive selected vista because their is no xp in the list (compability tab right click on icon). Im on win7 pro. I dont know why for this specific app there is no xp in list. The other apps have the option. Maybe using the compability tool in the control panel will change my situation. ReMark
Then there shouldn't be any problems since AutoCAD 2008 was released in March 2007 and Windows Vista was released in January 2007. I've never heard of something called "service pack mode". The Open-Close-Save hotfix you previously referred to was to fix a problem in AutoCAD 2009 products not in 2008 products. I would not start replacing files unless AutoCAD reports that a file is missing or corrupted.
