tzframpton
Start the Revit program, and click on the Application Button > New > Project and choose the Structural template and click okay. This has pre-loaded rebar, rebar shapes and rebar hooks. Before you can place Rebar you have to place a Family that can accept Rebar, such as a structural floor or column. You can select the object that needs reinforcing and you will see a Reinforcement Ribbon appear in which you can apply rebar in any style necessary. When you initiate the Rebar tool, directly below the Ribbon you'll see a drop down selector for what type of Rebar you need and a browse button to the right of this drop down that pops up a Rebar Shape Browser for a graphical selection. Furthermore if you are on the Structure Tab > Reinforcement Panel, you can expand the Ribbon Panel to expose the Reinforcement Settings. -TZ
