Qgcad
I would like to be able to pick points or draw a line between 2 lat/long coords. Is there a way to reference my drawing? By picking points in my drawing and telling CAD what the lat/long of those points are? ex. the corner of a building I would then be able to mark other points of interest that I know the lat and long of? ex. the geographic centre of a field Running Cad Map 3D 2014, but unfamiliar when it comes to the mapping/gps/coordinate part. BIGAL
This should explain how http://beingcivil.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/09/add-latitude-longitude-points-to-a-dwg.html
Murph_map
Yes if your dwg is not geo-referenced, say you just picked a point and started drawing away. First you want to assign a coordinate system to the dwg, then locate a couple real world points (coordinates) in the dwg and use the move/rotate/scale commands to move your building to those points. That will get you started. post your dwg and anything else you have if you need to.
