Match a ortogonal reference to a curve

I think you would have to space the individual letters around the face of the curve first then extrude after which I would use the Interfere command.

 

An example using a single letter.

 

ExtrudeTextonCurve.jpg

 

If I have time later on I'll do a word of similar character count as yours.

I understand what you made and i already think about this way.

 

But the autocad doesnt have the property to match the ortogonal line on a curve?

It's AutoCAD it isn't Inventor.

 

Maybe I'm mistaken about the procedure but I am not mistaken that this topic has been covered before here at CADTutor. In fact, I may have even participated. None-the-less it might prove beneficial to you searching the forum for similar threads. In the meantime I'll think on it.
