Under the Plotting tab in the Options window, is "Use color dependent plot styles" selected? We had this problem too a couple times and that fixed it -- this tells AutoCAD not to look for STB files.

We have a plot style table we use in the office for lineweights.
When we go to print some old files the plot style is not found even though it is in the plot styles folder as a ctb file. It shows up as "missing" on the plot setup window.
We are using LT2004.
our plot style we have modified and would like to apply to every plot is saved as a ctb file in the plot styles folder within autocad.

To convert an AutoCAD 2000 drawing, or a pre-AutoCAD 2000 drawing that has already been saved in AutoCAD 2000 or later releases, to use named plot styles, use theCONVERTPSTYLES command.
look this up in Help: CONVERTPSTYLES
