Rarehumanjeff
I do drafting and design, including prototyping, simulations, as well as animations through Inventor. The assemblies I work with will probably hit a limit of 1,000 components. My IT department is putting together a strong workstation to provide adequate performance power for all of my work in Inventor; up through 2018. Can anyone tell me or guestimate based on their own personal experience with Inventor, if the following hardware components will meet my needs for the version of Inventor that will be available in 2018? NVIDIA Quadro K2200 4GB DL- DVI(I)+2xDP 1st No cables 512GB SATA 1st Solid State Drive Intel Xeon E5-1620v3 3.50GHz 10MB 2133 4C CPU 16GB DDR4-2133 (2x8GB) Registered Ram
andar424
Are these built in-house, or purchased from another company? I would say they look good, except I would maybe try for a higher clock speed on the processor.
