Gotrekk
hi everyone, i have a quite big file with many open polylines (i attached an extract to show an example) and i'd like to join the polylines whenever is possible and close all of them. Is there an easy way ? basically i want to go (referring to the drawing attached) from "a" to "b" any ideas? thanks in advance regards EDI_WIP.dwg

Gotrekk
thanks a lot! that was a very interesting reading and a lot of good tips, still didn't help with my problem
eldon
I presume that you have tried Pedit with the Multiple option? First use the Join option and then the Close option. I ended up with 21 polylines, whereas your "b" has 22 polylines.

If it takes a long time processing, simply select less of them at a time.
