muck
Which is the preferred method to plot files? Should a CAD operator use AutoCAD transparency or should they only use pin settings in their cbt file to fade objects? In the past I have used transparency to plot but this brought on some issues in the office. 1. One issue is that we have seen a dithering with pdf plots. 2. When x-ref's are binded the screening settings are removed. 3. The office is concerned about keeping settings in drawings that are sent out. Is there any solutions to these problems? My office has some large complex AutoCAD files and many times it is difficult to fade every thing in them using pin color. Any suggestions on best methods for plotting? RobDraw
Why continue to use transparency, if it has multiple issues? Pen settings work. Use them. Alternatively, you may find using .stb instead of .ctb more versatile.
