cannoscale driving me crazy (er)

Hello,

I have several files I am switching back and forth from and this is happening in all of them. I will zoom into the plan, work for a while and then I realize my cannoscale has changed from 1" = 20' to 1" = 40'. I change it back to 1:20, work for a while and when I zoom out it's changed again from 1:20 to 1:40. Has anyone else seen this happen? it is driving me nuts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Phil

If you saved "named views" they may have the wrong scale saved. If that's the case, restore the named view, change the scale, then overwrite the saved named view.

Tom,

That is EXACTLY what my problem was. I have lisp routines to restore named views. I would restore a view, it would reset the cannoscale but if I switched back to plan view it held the value from the view. I saw this by doing single undo's until it changed so I could narrow it down. Thanks very much for your reply.

You're very welcome. Having experienced the same issue myself, I have a sense of the frustration that it may have caused. I'm glad I was able to help.
