Organic
Say the data in modelspace is all at origin 0,0,0 and in that general vicinity. There are 100+ paperspace sheets referencing the model at these coordinates. The entire modelspace now has to be physically moved from say 0,0,0 to 50000,50000,0 for reasons I won't go into (suffice to say it has come about by a client who doesn't understand CAD that well). Is there any way to somehow get the paperspace viewports to move with the model so that the 100+ viewports don't have to be manually moved/fixed to reflect the new position of the CAD data in the modelspace? BIGAL
There should be a way to set the current UCS origin to 5000,5000 I tried this UCS W OR "-10000,-10000 S NEWUCS. Go to your layout centre scale etc then UCS R NEWUCS the coords should be 5000,5000 not sure eactly why twice it sort of make sense but it worked. Should be able to script or lisp go into each mview and reset UCS, if their locked a little more dificult.
