Hi,

What i want is to weld the two pipes of fitting (intersection between the horizontal and vertical) in inventor.

Inventor coudnt let me do the preparation and wel, or just welding. How did you weld a tee fitting like this.

I try to do a chanfer but gave me an error...

Do you understand?

Weldments are done in Assembly. Create an assembly, insert your objects (make two pipe parts), constraint, then convert to weldment. Go to Environments in the Assembly menu, then select Convert To Weldment...

Have you installed all Service Packs and Updates for your version of Inventor? (Hint: The correct answer is - No.)

You have one part (you did not even do as multi-body solid).

Where in the real world would you create this as one part (rather than an assembly of two parts) and if you could create as one part - why would you need to weld it?

i'm not expert in inventor or autocad, and i have so much doubts. I need to put wel in the interception of this pipes, for annotation thar this weld was tested by x-ray.

If you could help me, explain me how to do.
