Multiple Constraints in assembly in one go

Hi All,

I've got 50 screws which the flat head face of them must be flush with all others.

Instead of using "Flush" constraints in assembly several times for each two and click "Apply" is there any way to use all flush faces and apply a kind of group "Flush" constraints?

Cheers

Ali

The only way is if you set up iMates, even then it kind of a pain unless this is a common workflow for you.

Yes it is a pain.

Inventor and AutoCAD both from Autodesk but I really don't understand why they don't want to use useful features of AutoCAD in Inventor.

Just having a "Multiple" option beside the constraint window is it that much hard!

And tons of other things.

Yes the name is Inventor but reinventing the wheel is not sensible to me.

It works exactly the same in Inventor as in AutoCAD?

Most any assembly has patterns of fasteners. (I will make substantial wager your fasteners are not random positions.)

Simply place one instance and pattern the rest.

Attach your assembly here if you can't figure it out.

hahaha...

Thanks for your reply mate.

But AutoCAD gives you better flexibility even if there is not a pattern for it. See attached as an example.
