2012 Trial C3D crashed when I used a different profile, now opens as AutoCAD 2012

I am using a trial version of AutoCAD C3D 2012 at home. It's the last version that can run on a 32-bit PC. I accidentally brought in a drawing made on a newer dwg. version. I also brought in my own .arg file (from a newer version of C3D on a different computer). I received a warning about using a newer drawing. I did WBLOCK to remove the objects, saved C3D 2012, and closed down. I reopened C3D 2012, received an error that they could not detect the installed profile, and now the trial opens up as AutoCAD 2012, not 2012 C3D? Any ideas?
