ROBP
Finally found out that the 3d dome lisp was part of the early cad version shame that Autodesk took the command out from recent versions. Wondering if some of ya still has the lisp and can share it would be a great help. Many thanks, R Edited March 11, 2015 by ROBP
ReMark
Is the dome round or elliptical? If it is round why not just make a half profile and revolve it? Could take all of 30 seconds including a coffee break.

Round it is needed I know revolve would work but it also need to be separated in height for the longitudinal lines and they have to be for glass type shapes with mullions going across and upward with cross members, glass will be flat not rounded shape. And I also need to be able to input both meridional and longitudinal numbers. R
ReMark
Is that all you need? Did the "old" dome lisp have that many options? So it's really a geodesic dome?

ReMark
Plain AutoCAD had a 3D dome command that included an option for separators? I did not know that. Learn something new each day. What version are we talking?

ReMark
Oh, you mean longitude and latitude. I was hung up on the word "mullions". Now that I think about it I do recall both a Dome and a Dish option on the Surfaces toolbar.

Yep indeed bingo dish and dome, never mind the mullions i have the extrusion pattern i will extrude and put into position in order to receive and attach the flat piece of glass
ReMark
While I have versions of AutoCAD going back as far as Release 9 I have nothing older than 2014 loaded. Sorry. But we have a couple of forum members still running older versions. Maybe one of them can provide you with what you are looking for.

ReMark
I just found it on the Release 14 CD. Loaded and tested. It works. The command is AI_DOME. Command: AI_DOME Center of dome: Diameter/: 60 Number of longitudinal segments : Number of latitudinal segments : I accepted the defaults as shown. Now about that beer and steak you offered earlier..........
