How is LISP pronounce?

Yer kidding, right? Ith pronounthed Lisp. But ith not a word when uthed for coding, ith an acronym that thtands for LISt Processing language.

If you say it with a lisp, you are pronouncing it wrong.

 

I always wondered why a word with an "s" is it was chosen to describe that affliction. I always thought it's kind of cruel.

that's certainly how I pronounce it - can't see any other way

The acronym is LISP same as the word lisp, why would anyone pronounce it any other way?

 

LIPS, must be dyslexia or someone hits the right side of the keyboard faster than the left side.

 

Don't even know why one would use LIDS.

I always learnt it meant: "Lost In Stupid Parentheses" and it was something I quickly understood to be correct.
