eder_ic
I want to cut a tube using another tube as boundary. How can I do that?. Here is a picture, is a simple weldment of 2 tubes, I already have them on an assembly and the interference is shown, I need to cut tah material. How can I use the info of the other tube to cut the smaller?.
JD Mather
Several different ways. Since in the real world it is an assembly - I would use Frame Generator and use the frame trimming tools. another way Edit part to be trimmed within context of assembly and Copy Object from trimming part as surface into part to be trimmed and Sculpt or Split. or Derive Component and Spit or Sculpt or simple Extrude cut or multi-body solids Combine-cut. so many ways to accomplish the design intent. Attach your assembly here if you can't figure out these techniques.
eder_ic
Copy object was the solution thanks. Then a surface created, then split.
