Export Model Group as 3D Block

Ok... a disclaimer, again. I'm new to Revit, and don't know much. But I have this casino model, and there are these little kiosks that we are putting displays on. I need this kiosk in 3D in AutoCAD to work with it. Is there a way to export this thing as a 3D block?

Before you ask, no, I don't think I can just put my display in Revit as I only know enough Revit to do enough to export my views. And, all our other drawings are being done in AC...

Sure, just open a 3D View, and use the R button > Export > CAD Formats > DWG. I would export the entire model and pick what things you need. Just make sure you choose the export to be ACIS Solids. See screenshot here:

I figured out how to do it. The first way expected the whole model and it was unusable. Just too big. I finally found a video on how to do it on the auto desk website.

No big font here. I think that was just your phone's browser.

Glad you got it sorted out. But for future reference, the default Visual Style from Revit exports are very taxing to AutoCAD, so I always switch to Wireframe mode immediately. This enables AutoCAD to run smoothly while I copy/paste things I need out of the exported drawing into a new one for further manipulation. Also, Layer Management helps too. Just a few other tips to help along the way.

Yeah, I noticed the Visual Style was really hurting me. But by the time I figured that out, I was already seriously peeved off at the hourglass icon, and just killed AC and did it over, with just the piece I needed.
