For simple parts / assemblies it works straight forward with shrinkwrap. But sometimes it doesn't. the attached image shows a valve after shrinkwrap apllied patching all holes and removing internal voids etc. (i tried every combination in the options) as you can see the voids and surfaces are still there and adds up to overall surface area. Has anyone seen or come across someting like this? how can i remove them? I have various types of these parts and all similar problem. I cant edit them manually as it takes ages.
