jvanabel
Randomly thru the day, my Dynamic Input keeps shutting off. I never use any of the 'F' keys, and as sure as I'm typing have never hit even by accident the F12 key. Is there another combination of keys that I'm hitting that is a shortcut to Dynamic Input that I'm unaware of?
zaphod
are you accidently hitting "CTRL D" while trying to quick save "CTRL S"?
jvanabel
I just hit 'CTRL D' numerous times with no results or changes...
Ski_Me
Is your keyboard mechanical or the pressure type?

ReMark
Maybe you are clicking on the button for that particular feature that resides in the system tray.
SLW210
Are you exiting out of commands without completing them?
jvanabel
don't believe so, what are the chances that I keep clicking on my Dynamic Input button and not the 'Show/Hide Transparency' (no F function) or the Object Snap Tracking (F12) that flank it...? or anything else in my tray... ReMark
You seem to have eliminated, rather handily, all possibilities but one.......ghosts in the machine.
jvanabel
If I abort any command mission I have accepted or initiated I repeatedly hit 'ESC' 3-4 times... that has never failed me or caused problems.
Ski_Me
If you have a spare keyboard try that. You could have a sticky button or a broken lead. Or something that fell into the keyboard that is causing the button to make contact without pushing it.
