huntch3
Hi, I have an issue regarding the visibility of my view port frame. I am trying to make it so that my view port frame in paper space is visible but not printable. I have had no problem doing this with other files: all i do is give the view port a special layer, and in the layer properties, ensure that the the no-plot option is selected. Now, when I make the the layer no-plot, the view port is completely invisible with its contents, and I have no idea how to fix this. I know I can easily make the view port layer def points, but I need to be able to fix this problem. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dadgad
It sounds like you may have more than one viewport, where you think there is only one. Are the CONTENTS of the viewport on the same layer as the non printing viewport perhaps? Just click on the viewport to select it.
huntch3
Hi, Thanks for the reply...YES! the view port contents were on the same layer as the viewport layer. I created a new layer and problem solved. Thank you so much!
