Mouse crosshairs stick when I move them over a 3-D object

Went I take my mouse cross hairs and move them across a 3-d object or

block my cross hairs seem to stick and slow down. Is there some software

issue here?

 

I usually notice this issue when I am creating a selection set.

I am using AutoCAD 2013 on 3-D drawings.
