resto
Hi How can draw 3dpolyline with line type Dashed. I chanced line type scale from prop. but it doesn't work. thank you
eldon
I thought that 3D polylines default to being a continuous linetype, whatever linetype is chosen.
scj
After exploding you'll see the LINETYPE. After grouping the exploded single lines you can manipulate the GROUP (see the attachement). Regards Jochen 3DPoly-LTyp.dwg

eldon
Not to detract from the cleverness of the solution, but the new lines are no longer a 3D polyline, even though they are grouped in a group that is called 3DPOLY (could have been called anything). Dadgad
Is it imperative that it BE a 3D Polyline? I drew this one as a 3D Polyline, then used PEDIT command and the REVERSE option, turning it into a rather unorthodox polyline because it is not flat to the X,Y plane, but it does display as DASHED. Needless to say there are other ways to do the same thing, I am just curious if, or why, it might necessarily be a 3D Polyline?
SEANT
If 3dPolys are not an absolute requirement, how about a spline based PolyCurve? Dashed3Dpoly.dwg
