Finding area of curverd balconies

How to find area of curved balconies ? I follow the process: Inquiry>Area. I am able to select the rectangular area but how to select the curved semi-circular area?

Retrace your curved balconies with a Closed Polyline, so their areas will be displayed in Properties or create Regions from them.

It would be helpful to see a sample .dwg file, from which you could delete any nonessential (for our use) proprietary information, or excess entity baggage.
