Can anyone help me remember that command that retains the ratio of the 2d profile lines that you extract out of a 3d part? i use solprof and then copy the 2d profile and paste it into another cad file with a 2d title block, BOM and so forth but the profile gets somewhat distorted when i paste it in..... ??

If the profile block appears distorted, that makes me think that you may be experiencing a UCS problem.

Compare your UCS settings, you may need to reorient your solprof images to align them in your new drawing.

I have used solprof a hell of a lot in the last 3 to 4 years, and it has always behaved quite admirably.

If I am not mistaken Viewbase was introduced in 2012, perhaps that would be better suited.

There is no command to "retain the ratio of 2D profile lines" as it pertains to SOLPROF that I am aware of.

Is this what you are asking about?

Project profile lines onto a plane? [Yes/No] : Enter y or n, or press Enter
