I would like to not have to import autocad with 3d points or text point file procedures. If that is required I would rather use point files. AutoCAD generates craziness it seems. My point is you would think you could make some points in a perfect rectangle or circle within Revit. I tried dimensions but it would not allow me to click points or structures to another point. Any help would be great. If not, is there a way to outline what needs to be printed which would cut everything in that area? Do not remember all the aspects of Revit. I don't believe you can "snap" the Topography nodes to other snap points, but topography is never a perfect square anyways so I wouldn't worry about it much. You can set Reference Planes or Lines as a "square" and just get them close. What you can do is use a 3D view and the 3D Section Box to "cut" the topography as a perfect square, while still seeing the topography edges. If you look at the topography that's being cut by a 3D Section Box in an isometric view, you'll see the earth pattern for the depth you've defined. Really quite neat if you ask me. But you can always turn on your Crop Boundary and let that plot to the PDF or Plotter to simulate the square perimeter linework. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
