What about RULESURF (set SURFTAB1 to the number of lines) and EXPLODE?

Good luck

Jochen

nope because once exploded i have "3d face" and not line and i need that the two points of the line have the same coordinate Z, like an extrusion

I think the line would have to be arrayed along the path of the helix such that it is tangent to the curve. Maybe Array > Path? There are a number of options but I haven't tried or used most. Maybe the ARRAYPATH command?

i have already tried it, but it seems not be useful for my goal, because the line don't rotate around the central line but only around the helix

How about either the Divide or Measure command?

I imagine that doing something like this in Inventor would be a piece of cake. Too bad we're both using AutoCAD.

Using ARRAYPATH. Your results may vary.

awesome! this is what i need

how have you do that?

i've tried another time but i'm not able to rotate the line

All I did was use the ARRAYPATH command and select the helix as the path.

this is strange: the behavior of the arraypath depends on the geometry of helix

if i create a helix like you i.e. with a low "turn height" i get that the line rotate around the center.

Instead if i create a helix with a high "turn d on one direction height" i get that the line stay aligned on one direction

my helix has this geometry:

constrain: turn height

height: 2000

turns: 8.0759

turn height: 247.65

base and top radius: 5.1816

I just thought I'd mention that scrolling the page up and down makes the rods appear to rotate within the helix.
