Marco1979
When i create a detail view, it always makes the view associated with the level under it (so everytime i must stretch/drag the view to the correct level). Is there a way to set that "reference level"?
tzframpton
Yes, once you've created one view, set it to where you like it. Now, instead of clicking Detail View, simply copy the previous one. This way it retains the previous adjustments. This is also consistent with any View, such as Floor Plan, Section, Elevation, etc. Revit likes when you "copy" or "duplicate" things. Makes life much easier in the long run. My advice is to go ahead and get in this mindset, since any new View created from the Ribbon is basically giving you a View "from scratch". Hope this helps. -TZ
