Glen1980
We have a lot of similar furniture blocks that I have incorporated into one dynamic block with visibility states. I am updating a planning drawing with the older blocks on it and wondered if anyone had a LISP for block replacing one block for another whilst also specifying a visibility state. Lee Mac
Certainly possible - does the old block name = visibility state name?
Glen1980
Possibly, if that's a problem I can easily rename the blocks. The names of the existing blocks have spaces in the names would that be problematic? Thanks Lee
Lee Mac
No necessarily a problem - it just makes the code shorter and more generic. If the naming is different, a program could query the block name against a lookup table defined in the code.
Glen1980
Oh, if your making it bespoke make it simple by all means! I just wondered if anyone had one ready made Again Thanks Lee!
Lee Mac
I'm just throwing ideas around - who said anything about a bespoke program
