BLOCKREPLACE with external reference ?

con

Recommended Posts

I would like to replace a block A

by another that is A A (twice the block with extras)

But with "BLOCKREPLACE" the "AA" had to be present in the drawing.

When I run BLOCKREPLACE the replace doesn't execute because "AA" references "A" itself (and it would loop indefinetely).

any way to do this without having the block present in the drawing?

Maybe one of these Methods:

1. Rename block A (-RENAME/BLOCK), then replace with block AA.

2. Open block A with block editor, delete old elements and paste new.
