Can someone please help me .... i am needing to send a dwg but whenever i send it the pdf underlay or tiff image i have attached doesn't go with it .. can anyone simplify/ explain the process for me please :

Just run the ETRANSMIT command. It will create a zip file containing everything associated with your drawing. Then you can send the zip file and the recipient will have everything they need.

You have two choices... What CAD64 says, which is actually the best way, or include the xref's as attachments in your email. The xref attachment is merely a file path, not a real connection. When the recipient opens your main drawing on their end, AutoCad FIRST expects to find the xrefs in the same folder as the main drawing, OR at least a file path to follow. The file path will tell it to look on your computer, which of course it cannot do.
