Squirltech
Welcome to the forum! First place to look is the TUTORIAL section of this forum. There is some VERY helpful links that can be found to help you on your way. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to give you some other places to look as well. ReMark
You can find free tutorials for AutoCAD 2013 at mycadsite.com. I'd also suggest buying a good after-market AutoCAD book.
Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor. Save your money, start with the website ReMark suggested, it is a very good place to start from scratch. I used it when I started 8 years ago, and found it to be very well organized.

This place is a great resource as well. Ive learned a lot just cadtutor.net If you are wanting to learn CAD for a profession and leaning towards the online course, I might check out local schools to see if there are any that offer hands on courses. I did a trial program which offered both hands on and online. The hands on far exceeded the online as far as my understanding of the program and efficacy. The online course would have got it done for me as well, but it really didn't fit well with my learning style. But that may just be me. I think I will go through as much as I can online before starting any type of course. hope you don't mind but I may be back asking questions now and then. thanks again.
