Bogbadbob658
Is there such a thing as 2D model? I can't seem to find a setting that restricts you to 2D.
ReMark
Why would you need a setting to restrict you to 2D? Wouldn't anything that does not have a height be a 2D model?
RobDraw
IMHO, if the users can't stay in 2D, they need some more training. That being said, there is a setting for ignoring Z values when OSnapping. This is especially handy if you are dealing with drawings from outside sources that have Z values. Cad64
Take a look at the OSNAPZ variable: http://docs.autodesk.com/ACD/2010/ENU/AutoCAD%202010%20User%20Documentation/index.html?url=WS1a9193826455f5ffa23ce210c4a30acaf-4f17.htm,topicNumber=d0e352700

Gonna have to pass this one along!
