    answered my own question, its under etransmit, goto transmittal setup, modify and there is an option to bind all external references.

    Just a clarification...eTransmit will *include* the xrefs in the ZIP or EXE file it creates -- the xrefs are not actually "bound" to the drawing.

    You probably knew that, I just wanted to clear up the terminology for future readers.

    Hi Kate,

    Actually, there is an option in a transmittal setup to "Bind external references"
