Magnum Z
Is anyone on here familiar with, in the past or present, Inventor ETO(engineer-to-order)/Intent? I'm working for a cabinet company now that has purchased this addin to Inventor. A coworker and I have had the basic training, but that's all it was...basic. It only lasted four days and now over two months later we finally have pc capable of running it somewhat seamlessly. Now I'm trying to figure out some things in regards to how we will use it. The Autodesk examples from the training and available online don't help. Their forums also seem to work intermittently here at work, but I do have access to these forums for some reason. Now with all the intro junk into my situation explained, my first question stands. Questions I have are for example, is it possible to place a derived sketch/part into another part that is adopted and change the sketch that is derived in the adopted part with the ETO/Intent coding? I don't need full details on how to do this, but specific examples would help me get started figuring this out.
JD Mather
When you refer to your training - is that with Inventor or is that with the ETO add-in?
Magnum Z
ETO add-in, but I have since figured out how to do my initial question.
