New to 2016 - Losing Selection Set When Switching Between .dwgs

I’ve been doing a lot of copy/paste between drawings and have found something different that is quite annoying. When using Ctrl+Tab or the drawing tabs to switch between drawings, I lose my selection set. Entering the command and using select previous does not get it back.

Still happening in 2017. All I can say is be aware and change your methodology. Initiate a command before making your selection. It doesn't matter which one but I would use copy to clipboard. When you switch to another drawing the command will cancel but when you go back to that drawing you can initiate the command again and use "P" to retrieve your selection set.
