respected eldon sir i want to get the 3d points in the side of alignment from the datas i got from surveyor.the excel sheet i sent suppose i got from surveyor, now i want to see the offset points in the drawing. how to do it?

I do not know the coordinates of the 3D points in my posted picture. I drew them relative to the alignment chainages, at the offsets in the excel sheet. I used the method that I suggested in post #6.

You seem to be adamant that you need coordinates. Perhaps the surveyor's field method should be updated to enable faster processing.

Guys he wants what CIV3D and numerous other software does and that is to create cross sections from a surface model. Yes there is a formula for the height of a point on a 3dface.
