autcad inline editor

We have just upgraded from r14 to autocad 2006 full version and LT2006

Is there an alternative to the inline editor for dims - its a bit off putting when your editing vertical dims rather than what we are used to - seeing text box below the editor box - very frustrating

Try setting MTEXTED to OLDEDITOR.

If you don't like that either, you can set MTEXTED to an external ASCII text editor of your choice.
