Honda Matt
We have AutoCAD 2009, 2011LT and 2013LT. If we upgrade to Windows 10 OS will there be any issues with AutoCAD? I understand that AutoDesk does not offer support of any of these currently due to being past releases. Just looking for what to watch out for. According to AutoDesk 2011LT will work on up to Windows 7 and 2013LT will work on up to Windows 8. Does anyone have experience with Windows 10 and AutoCAD 2009, 2011LT and 2013LT Thanks Matt

Voaraghamanthar
I don't know, I have quite a few issues even with AutoCAD 2015/2016. Below are a few. File Navigation Arrow randomly disappears and reappears VBA Enabler 2015/2016 is extremely buggy Not compatible with the .NET update in Windows 10 Menu Ribbon randomly duplicates menu items Plotters/Printers may become unrecognizable Unable to work in "Administrator" mode Can not find the network drive at times (Using "OPEN" command) Numerous virtual call errors Randomly crashes SQL Server 2008+ Can not keep file associations of .dwg files to AutoCAD Incorrect reporting of missing Service Packs and Hotfixes to AutoDesk Autodesk Application Manager is buggy and does not work quite often Incompatibility with numerous graphics cards older than 2013 PDF Quality issues Will not load default linetypes at times Requires quite a bit of customization settings to get it (AutoCAD) to perform well across the CPU in a machine (This one is even on a Dell - i7, 16GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 745) I have a whole spreadsheet more...but those are typical ones you can find on the AutoCAD forums if you go looking. Dana W
I'm running Acad 2015 LT at my home office, and have ticked off the MS Windows update bot by flatly refusing to upgrade to Win 10 even though it's free. Heard too many stories. My philosophy is "You get what you pay for." I don't have money to waste debugging program incompatibility issues for two GIANT tech companies that could do better. tzframpton
I haven't had any issues with anything on Windows 10.
Voaraghamanthar
I'm just happy the two giant tech companies are allowing us to have the option to not upgrade at the moment. As my experience tells me, at some point that option will pass and we will be forced to deal with issues these upgrades present. For the record though, I can break Windows XP and beyond...along with any version of AutoCAD dating back before R12 even. I've dealt so much with the issues, it don't matter what OS you have, or what CAD package...they are ALL broken to some extent. I do miss Windows 95 and R12. Apart from the security issues, they were a rather EASY softwares to maintain in the office. So long as you weren't connected to online...NO PROBLEMS !!! Yah, I miss that ! As Edith used to say..."Those were the days....'
