Default converting a file to AutoCAD 2000 format

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Hi there,

I'm having an awful lot of trouble obtaining some elevations to a large tourist development from Spanish architects.

The latest file they've sent is (I believe) just what I've been asking them for but (once again) it isn't in the requested AutoCAD 2000 format! *grrr*

As the file is over 1Mb it's too big to upload here, so I wonder if someone could PM me their e-mail address and convert it for me?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Simon

You can convert it yourself using the free download from Autodesk: http://www.autodesk.com/dwgtrueconvert

    You can't open a 2002, 2004, 2005, etc. . . version drawing in 2000 and save it down.

One might assume that he is using 2000, 2000i, or 2002 since he is requesting a v2000 drawing - but I guess technically you are right - he never said.
