Hello there! Quick question,
I'm running Autocad Lt 2004 I have a building that wants to be viewed at 1/50 at A0 thing is it's too big but can I draw in model space my building then in paper space create a viewport that is rotated so I can fit it all on.
I'm just trying to avoid rotating the building in model space as the I'll have to keep rotating it back everytime I need to edit it.
Just rotating the viewport doesn't work it still shows the building vertically instead of horizontally.

Some hints....:

You can't rotate a viewport but I believe you can rotate the view therein. Double click into your viewport type DV enter, twist/ 90deg (or whatever). That should do it. It's a long while since I've seen an LT version but I believe it's in there (DVIEWBLOCK). In MSPACE it rotates the whole enviroment, in PSPACE it just rotates the view (twists is a more accurate expression). I might be wrong perhaps you can let me know.

Another way is to create a UCS.....
1. Activate viewport
2. UCS -> New -> Z -> enter rotation angle
3. View menu -> 3dviews -> plan view -> current UCS
4, Reset scale
