    I did what tanner mentioned before. Download the trial version of Revit. After the 30 days are up you can still use it to learn, you just can't save or print. The books you buy will come with chapter files so you can always jump in at any chapter or mid chapter. If you don't shut off your computer you can go days picking up where you left off. Even if you have to go back a little, you will get better.
