Can you attach a copy of the drawing file to your next post so we can see for ourselves the problem you are facing? An image file (jpg or png) won't do; we need a dwg file. Thanks. PGuatney Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 I often copy the 3D solid that will be deleted when I use the SUBTRACT command. I move it a standard distance away (like 24" on the X axis) and when I have done my trimming, I put the copied object back in place. Sounds time consuming, but it isn't. I don't know if there is a down side to doing this, such as loading up the drawing with history. But, I often use the BREP command to rid my solids of legacy information.
