AMcC
My computer died yeaterday, but fortunately the hard drive was ok. I have bought a new machine and Autocad is running fine and all my old files are accessible - so far so good. When I go to print any of them however the plot syle is missing - can I find that on my old hard drive and can it be copied on to the new Autocad that is running ? Thanks in adavance
rkmcswain
It should be an .STB or .CTB file. If you created it in the stock location on the old machine, then use this to find it. Copy it to the same place on the new machine (or create a new location -one that is easy to remember, such as C:\CADSTUFF\PLOTSTYLES - and remap AutoCAD to look there)

AMcC
Got it now, managed to find it in the old drive which is now an external drive, copied it and pasted it in to the new drive folder.
