Geo referencing PDF file

Hi all,

I'm a more proficient user of ArcGIS and I know that it is possible to georeference a jpg or tiff file over top and aerial image if there is something you need to pull from it. I was wondering if the same is true of Civil 3D? I have a PDF and tiff version of an old plan set that I need to trace over and add to for a new project. I have spent a lot of time trying to scale and rotate it to line up, but I haven't had much success despite the same/extremely similar planimetrics being used.

Thanks in advance.

Try Align it helps, but any tiffs or pdf, we make it as close as we can then trace using true measurements rather than just randomly drawing on top. Have a lisp for georeference does multiple images very handy post if you want.
