Customise options settings

Hi all

How do you automatically customise all the options settings? See image.

I would like them to be set at startup. In AutoCAD I would use lisp and set in the acad.lsp and acaddoc.lsp. What's the process in Revit?

Thanks

Paul

Once you set them, they should stay. Why do you need to keep resetting them?

To make sure they stay set. I think the Revit.ini is what I want

All projects have different templates .

You can access Revit.ini at

C:\Users\..\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 201..\

make you're own. use notepadd++ is what i would do

[DirectoriesENU]

FamilyTemplatePath=D:\_Revit\templates

DefaultTemplate=Construction Template=...

[userInterface]

I think it depends on the situation. It's standard practise for some I've spoken to.

So somehow the settings are getting changed and you need to ensure that they return to the proper settings. How are they getting changed?

The main way is by the user But I've also had times when the server gets re-booted and the paths get re-set from network to local.

It doesn't really matter. I don't want any possibility of them being changed, there is too many users to keep track of, in offices in different cities. From my employers point of view it's risk management.
