KARNOLD Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 This is the first lisp I have ever used and I am getting an error message error: bad character read (octal): 0. I was able to successfully run the lisp in one drawing and now am trying to run again in another drawing with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Enter in the command line: (entget (car (entsel))) press enter and pick a ... "point". Press F2 to see the text screen and copy-paste here the result. Thanks fuccaro. Really useful. I had a bunch of blocks I wanted to extract the locations of. I clicked the center of each one as a point and your lisp routine worked for me.
